Noele Stuart received her bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and her master’s from Southeast College of Oriental Medicine (now Acupuncture-Massage College), graduating from acupuncture school as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. After learning “needling” techniques and “point locations” in acupuncture school, Noele began practicing on herself. She wanted to experience the sensation of every needle her clients would feel during treatments. Eventually, she sculpted an acupuncture style that is exacting yet gentle and caring. Widely studied in her field, Noele has published articles in Acupuncture Today, Popular Science, and Mother Earth News magazines. She received Diplomate status from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental medicine (NCCAOM), is nationally certified to practice acupuncture, and is licensed in South Carolina and Florida. Noele also is qualified in Chinese (Tui-na), Japanese massage (Shiatsu) and Swedish massage.
